Prasat Hin Phanom Rung.

Prasat Hin Phanom Rung.

Prasat Hin Phanom Rung.

Prasat Hin Phanom Rung.

We slept well in the Cross Vibe Buriram Hotel in Buri Ram.
The beds are good, the air conditioning is quiet and easy to regulate, we hear nothing from the adjacent rooms and the bathroom is fine.
The breakfast is also good, Thai and Western. Only Tom is missing something like cheese and/or sausage. Even the coffee is decent.

After breakfast we pack, check out and drink coffee, real espresso, at a Café Amazon next to the hotel. We now also see what kind of car Kaeng picked up yesterday, an almost new Mazda CX7, a beautiful car, but this car uses a lot of petrol.
When everyone is down we drive to the gas station where we went yesterday and from there with one car, the new one from Moue and Kaeng, to Prasat Hin Phanom Rung, an old Khmer temple. When it has been viewed we continue to Muang Tam, another ancient temple in the area, but we get lost a bit; finally we get there anyway.
Back at the gas station, we are supposed to drive home with the old car and Kaeng and his family with the new car.
But first we eat something at a restaurant along the road, ไก่ย่างสวนแสงสว่าง ใกล้เขาพนมรุ้ง, very tasty food.
At three o'clock we really drive back.

On the way back we want to drive through Nakhon Ratchasima and Saraburi, but the route planner on Tom's phone sees traffic jams on the way and sends us via Prachinburi, Kabinburi and Chachoengsao.
The road is quite mountainous after a while, but the old car is no problem.
In the vicinity of Chachoengsao it has become dark, and that is very tiring driving, especially because the road is broken up everywhere. At one point we have to turn off the highway and Tom hopes that this is an extension of Thanon Latkrabang, but there is no point of recognition. We'll see where we end up.
Gaeng and Moue are not there yet.
The road turns out to be the road we hoped for and we are soon home. We stop at a 7/11 to buy some food and drinks.
An exhausting day.
